Loading troops into hangers?

Has anyone figured out how to load troops onto carriers? I tried setting up an order for my carrier to load a specific commando unit (upgraded to the 5th level i think), my carrier has 20 free hanger slots available...am i missing something? After the turn passes nothing changes, hanger is empty but when i check the logs for my carrier it says that the order has been completed successfully. do upgraded units take up more space than non-upgraded units?

I was able to load one of your commandos into your carrier without a problem. I think you were trying to load all commandos (didn't specify any with the checkbox) and it couldn't load them all. You have like 4-5 of them and each one has a size of like 5-10 each.
The load order is on an All or Nothing mechanic right now. I need to make it try to load the smallest ones first. I'm assuming that's what you did

Ah that clears things up, so different units have different sizes, and they also change the higher the tier they are. it seems that all the other times i tried to put in units that were too big for my carrier. Thank you,
