UI rework and account management

We mostly spent time on back end changes that you won't notice this week. Payment system seems to be working well. And there is code coming together to send emails for account expirations and such.
We also added a couple of images for Transports and Mechanized. We should have Armored, Artillery and battlesuits soon.
The arrow ticks on the Viewscreen >> Military tab were not working correctly. They are now. The arrows and squares show the moving and standing military but they go from light greens to heavier reds depending on how much Military power is there or moving.
The biggest change we made however was the Demand screen. We were able to squeeze in another couple of columns in the Demand Top 10 grid that shows the location and product with the Highest or Lowest demand. If for example you are looking at Earth and you don't select any demand category and set the top ten list to "Max Demand %" you will see the locations of the highest Demand products across the planets. Switch the order by to Low and you will see the lowest demand products. If you filter the product categories it will filter along with it. You can zoom out to the entire system and se what the most high demand products are per planet. This should make it a lot easier for you Buy low Sell high players out there =)
As for launching the game live, I am pretty confident it will happen next weekend or maybe the week after. I am considering doing a "soft launch" without much fanfare or advertising. The game needs a lot more polishing and I don't even have all my unit images yet. I don't know if my artist is going to deliver in the next 2 weeks. I don't want to delay the game much longer so I'm going to make it work within a week or two =)

Make sure you change the infantry/commando images before launch (Even if just to another generic image) as you'd be in serious copyright infringement with halo and crysis art in your game, even temporarily, once you start charging players in live. (Not to mention it also makes the game look like a ripoff game to new players.)
Looking forward to launch, and the softlaunch sounds like it could work for giving you more time to finish the art as well as hunting down any more minor bugs we have missed so far. I can help with some free advertisement across gaming circles and websites once you feel it's ready for a larger playerbase.

How far in advance will you let us know what day the wipe will be? There is a faction of blood cultists trying to take control of my board of directors right now. They want to change our corporate jingle to "Cleanse the unbelievers" or "Cleanse the Earth with Foam!" or something like that, so I assume that means we'll be retooling to take advantage of the sky high demand for soap on Mars once their in charge. (I think they said "Foam". I mean, that's the only thing that makes sense, right?)
I thought that maybe I'd give in and see if they can turn this company around once we only have a few days left.

Yes I can't run any internet images at all. I have a backup for Infantry and commandos but I still need the Base, Shipyard and all the defenses. I might get stock images temporarily. Iim leaning more towards announcing a launch next weekend and actually soft launching like May 5th or 6th. I really need the game totally ready to launch, then sit on it for a couple days. I don't want to announce a launch date and then get cornered on something. Once I know for sure everything is in place, I'll announce and launch a week alter.

Cool an extra week to get ready for the big end-of-the-world battle.

Yes, that will be fine. My board members seem to be moving away from the soap industry and are leaning towards the punchier, "Blood for the Blood God!" jingle. So, medical supplies... I guess.
