My suggestion then is to not use the in game communication system as a forum, but to instead use the forum. Like you are doing now.

What shooer is getting at is that trade and other issues can be discussed here on the forums.
I do think that counting of private messages towards the limit of in game posts is a bit harsh and has precluded me from taking certain actions but we need to work on it.
Alternatively if you want a lively discussion you can go to the discord server.
Be wise and careful with your words and you will be rewarded.

Subsribing probably should increase the limit. But the real answer is. If yo're throwing 10 messages in 4 hours in the Comms, it should really go to the forums.
I do want to rework the comms to have different sections. One for Public chat, one for events , so I can make a comms thread for every event without crowding the channels, and one for whatever else I can think of. Maybe check boxes to filter out those other message types.
that comms system is very rudimentary, its not designed for 100+ post with 40 people in them

Its actually the private messages that kill my comms allocation - when I need to write to all nine producers of chemicals in NY as mayor for instance - blam. There goes my comms allocation.
