weird bug while upgrading a ship with AX dimension

I am trying to upgrade my warpfreighter with an AX dimensional but it just doesnt seem to work.
Ive tried it a few times now and i suspect a bug. The AX is in the cargo bay of the unit i want to upgrade, the order is complete but yet it doesnt give it hypercube
Ship: Warpfreighter lvl 10

upgrades: 5 points in cargo and speed
