Okay so far : the . in the corp name trigger the min 3 letters warning. And on the bottom it is the ! that does it.

It wont let you use much punctuation at all. I'm feeling it might be the Exclamation point. Can't us e it.

It tries to prevent a lot of symbols but lets enough through to be practicql and it isnt perfect. It's all done to prevent corporation names that look like:
***U$BB3R! 3€€^÷%:'?***
Spamming the game and or making it difficult to search or find another Corp by name

Same story with ' in ingame posts too, alongside most symbols, which is annoying and looks like something different from what you ment... time to sustract by adding a nice '\' ? or escaping methods from some frameworks could do the work.

it deletes your ampersands from quick replies in the comms too. Just sent a message then it popped out making hardly any sense, because I use the symbol most of the time instead of writing and.

Allowing a lot of symbols in the text just opens up a lot of potential abuses not just hacking. You can start making ASCII art or flood ir with gibberish. The quick reply and comments are supposed to be simple and short it's not a forum. I can allow a few more common ones though

... That's a good point (haha "point"!) We should add that to the validation
