We have a lot of experienced players here, and while the Guide is great, it doesn't drill down into specifics, and it's not as easy to search it as a Wiki would be. I think a Wiki would help a lot with new player retention, something every game needs. I, for one, have no idea how a Warp Gate works, how to get one or what it is lol. I don't have the time to run and maintain a Wiki personally, but I'd be more than happy to contribute to it as much as I can if someone else wants to admin one? |

Just playing devil's advocate here. I can see some Negative effects: Making cities almost impregnable once they reach a certain population. Their defenses + the city ruler and their guild could become impossible to defeat, stagnating battle The system could be abused, especially by large guilds, to essentially handicap other players for whatever reason |

Reduction of Storage fees

I'd like to suggest either a Structure or Research that reduces Storage fees. I play by stockpiling cheap resources, then selling for a profit, but the storage cost is prohibitive. I'd spend a few logistics on a cheap-upkeep Warehouse, or spend some Corp Research to reduce the fee. Nothing groundbreaking, of course, but it could add another choice, another pro/con option that opens up additional gameplay options |

What about having potential interstellar starting planets based on the Planet Emperors? For exampled, the Emperor of Panther II can enact a vote to open Panther II to new colonization for a month. That way new players will be able to start one new planets where veterans WANT them, giving them a better chance |

I understand completely, and I wouldn't want it removed. And yes, you'd have to pay for a warehouse, but if it was cheaper than the equivalent amount of resources, it may be worth it, depending on location and playstyle. A warehouse would use up your Logistics like any other structure. It'd basically be the equivalent of having a dozen freighters sitting around holding cargo, without all the extra order-giving. At the moment I do have a lot stockpiled for manufacturing, I may have gone overboard on what I needed, but that's what sparked the idea |

System trade goods?

Would it possible, and/or a good idea, to have system-specific trade goods? What I mean is, a type of trade good (Sol Goods) that can only be made in Sol. If cities had a demand for it - one not tied to population - it would form the basis of interstellar trade. Right now I've never found a reason to send my freighter between star systems, but having unique goods in each system could change that. Nothing too complex or over the top, of course, we have more than enough economy, just an idea I had a couple days ago. |

Oooh what about a planet that spawns that HAS an ancient orbital megastructure? If destroyed it slowly regenerates. Provides some bonus/can only be used by the current planet emperor or something...could make some star systems very interesting |

Just logged on (turn 28918) to see that on turn 28906, while I was asleep, a freighter was salvaged. I never queued a salvage order for it, nor would I. It had been running resources from a pair of mines I had down to Nitro on loop for a while now. |

Just a quick suggestion - in the list of buy/sell that DBC's show, could we have the prices there as well? I'm aware you can get it by clicking on each product individually, or see it if the DBC has products there, but adding it to the list would make it a lot quicker and easier to eyeball a situation |

Well you can get a higher priority by upgrading the DBC, since it's ratio based and higher levels attempt to buy more. I don't see your logic on letting them buy from other cities - even factory outlets need logistics, and that's what your transports and freighters are. Anyway, I use a network of DBC's at my major trade ports - buy what I need with it, send in a cargo fleet that drops off my product, picks up my purchases etc. |
