That poor Assets page database query, so overworked =)
Actually, I can flag the units as having a buy or sell, or attack and whatever a 4th thing might be as you update or add orders to it. So I don't have to look for it every time I bring up assets. Thats easy enough.
The icons won't change, instead, the backgrounds will be transparent and I can put another icon, or 4 if necessary behind it to show the Red/green box and/or another one for combat
I think that ill work pretty easily. Alternately it can be added as a icon in the notes Either way its a good idea =) |

Final product is a bit more difficult, bit if they could start with a short prefix for their group it would work well.
I was totally going to bring this up weeks ago =)
I'm not sure if we should format it differently or just turn the words around though

Your paid through date is changed, next to your Credits at top of screen.
Also you can go to your Profile and see your transaction. You can click on your Paid Through Date, its a blue link, or on the Main website there is a "View Profile" link under where you login in.
Paypal usually takes 5-10 seconds to send message to the site that your payment is good. |

As a matter of fact I have never actually tested this with my own units but I believe others have (I have seen units run away from me in the middle of combat when their owner was offline as far as I could tell) so I am assuming it works.
I do have a testing environment, my machine at home =) I just don't have a dedicated QA team! |

That means giving the frigate 5 hangar space. Yeeesh, that 10% of the full carrier. We gave the frigate minimal hangar capacity to ferry small transports and stuff between planets. Now you can put 5 million worth of fighters on it at 5 hangar.
I'm kinda leaning towards the idea though. Frigate can be the "light carrier" as a stepping stone to the 8 mill full carrier. at 1.5 mil each 5 frigates equal the cost of a single carrier but hold half as much hangar , but have a lot more cargo and has almost double the hit points....
If I do this I think I need to drop the price of the carrier from 8 million to like 5 million since all carrier does it carry units, its combat numbers are about what the frigate is. |

The contract tracking it as a good delivery is by design, its not your fault he couldn't pay.
There must be something wrong with the calculation for the corp funds. Its the other corp that can't afford the contract price is why you are getting bounced. But if he has plenty I'll have to take a look. |

I wonder if the game is checking YOUR corp funds when SELLING when it should be checking the BUYERS corp funds. I might put you in the black in a minute and you let me know if all the sudden your sells go through
Never mind you have 3 million, i thought you were in debt =)
Try contracting for a single unit and see if it goes through.

After looking at it I think I should up the hangar to 5 for no other reason then the 20% upgrades to hangar will actually give you some hangar every upgrade. At 2 hangar an upgrade wouldn't give you anything until you got 3 of them. Upgrades used to be 50% increase.
I also will probably keep the carrier the same cost but give it more hit points/attack to make it more of a warship and balance it out better vs buying 5 frigates |

Thais probably the problem then, it might be checking YOUR funds on accident, i'll chase this down tonight.
In the meantime I have another idea you can try, I'm not sure how you set the transfer order but try setting it to a set amount instead of max if you set it that way. The corp fund check might have the same problem it had in buy and sell where it checks against the max cargo for a sell amount.
But it sounds like its the first theory. It shouldn't matter how much money YOU have when SELLING, the fact that it works once you went into the black is pretty good evidence. |

I havn't found a good way to calculate the fact that you have enough BS power to take half the volume of 1000 this turn from the 12 other people competing with you, but you have your 4 cargo space left. So I give you the 4 units and let the other split it, but now the other guy who was going to take 20, can now take 300 but only 30 units of cargo left so hes really taking 30 and letting the rest split with the other 10 people etc.
its like I would have to loop through all the buyers in BS order to determine exactly what they are taking and what is remaining before I can move to the next guy. And even that wouldn't be accurate because in order to know he CAN take 4 I have to calculate against everyone BS power first to make that determination. =) |

You know the administration account? The one that announces events and tells us of new cities being founded or votes happening or fads coming and going?
It does not have a logo - it just shows this sad empty black space which boldly claims - no image.
While that is a statement in and of itself about the administration I think that some kind of adequately vogonesque logo would be most welcome there.

This is something I need to fix. It will magically happen one day. You are talking specifically about the Drop Everything order right? That one should be easier to make work in one turn. Its the pick up everything order where you have 8 different products at random amount and you only have 12 cargo space left in the one tranport and plenty n the other 3 transports all doing the same thing at the same time. |

It would be something like clicking on a stack of product and setting it to sell itself at location. An idea to think about, not sure how much BS power it would have. I'm a little Leary about allowing anyone to sell anything anywhere without any foothold or assets being applied that others can attack. If the price of my product goes up to 500 demand tomorrow in Warsaw, I might be inclined to ATTACK Warsaw, targeting the corporations that I know are competing with me, to get the sellers out so i can dominate the profits. Thats only possible if there are transports and structures selling the stuff. It doesnt happen so much on Earth but it does off world. I mean look at that Mars situation. The first combat in the game was over holding the location that had 3 metals resources on it =) |

Defenses, right now, only defend you. Only when you are attacked, even if you are guarding your guild they wont come because they are not set to guard. I agree its a little silly and I need to change it. The Terran fed defenses are actually set to "Guard" which isn't even possible for normal players to do as a workaround. Setting Defenses to "guard" is a little clunky and a lot more micro so instead I have this idea to change the defenses mechanic so they will defend attacks against you like they do now but also to be present in any fight that any of YOUR UNITS are in, automatically. That is a lot easier to implement. That would mean that if you want your defenses to protect your allies, one of your normal units would have to be on the defending side already, then your defenses will join the fight on the defense.But if you have NO units there or they are destroyed, and you have no structures being attacked either then your defenses wont come to the fight. |

I don't know if it was mentioned but we figured that one game turn is approximately a day in real life. That makes 1000 turns or one week real time equivalent to about 3 years in game. Not an official number but if we're role playing, then 1 turn equals about 1 day in game.
Also, I would LOVE to see a "Barons of the Galaxy Newspaper" with articles about big game events. Maybe just make another forum for that? |

SO, I looked at this and tried to implement it and , it seems to work perfectly on first try so Its uploaded on the live site right now =)
I'll make a post in dev about it but generally speaking . Your defenses will join ANY fight that one of your units is in for any reason. So if you are guarding a corp and your units go in because of the guar, any defenses you ahve at location will come in ont he defending side also. If you DO NOT have a unit defending your allies then your defenses WILL NOT respond. Your defenses have no orders set on them and they cannot be set to guard. Your defenses simply come in automatically into any fight, on the defense only, your units are in at that location. In a pinch, send a scout, just get something to get into the fight and you can bring all your defenses with you.
Also, Shipyards and Bases are considered "Defenses". With this change they now show up on defense also. |

There was a "fix" put in for defenses which change the way the react to combat. Previously defenses would only defend YOU and no one else. If your units were guarding an ally who got attacked, your units would come to the fight in the defense but any defenses you have at that location would not because YOU were not attacked there. There is no way to order defenses to Guard Terran Feds defenses were actually set to guard as a workaround until now.
So NOW defenses will come into ANY fight in which you have ANY unit already there on the defense. So if you have ships guarding an ally and that ally is attacked, your ships will come in on defense, but then all defenses are checked and since you have units in a fight on the defense, any defenses you have at that location will automatically join the fight on defense. This means that you MUST have a unit of some kind in the fight on defense for your defenses to come in with you when guarding another corp or guild. If your corp is actually attacked then of course your defenses respond normally. . There is still no way to tell your defenses to guard an ally, they will come along if your units are on the defense. You can send a scout in to guard an ally and when that scout gets on the defense in a battle all your defenses will come along.
Also, Military Bases and Shipyards have always been considered "Defenses" by the system so Your bases and Shipyards will also come to the fight along with your other defenses automatically.
Terran feds defenses no longer have orders to guard, and all Terran fed units were wiped out so they will re spawn with correct orders.
Hangar Space has been increased across the board. The minimum hangar capacity is now 5, that includes the Frigate, cruiser, dreadnought. The battleship has been given a hangar Capacity of 20 giving it more value in battle groups. The Carrier has been given a capacity of 100 and also had its Hit Points increased from 1200 to 2000, giving it more survivability since it has little combat value. The Frigate cost has increased from 1.5 mil to 2 mil. The monolith also has a hangar of 100 now, i think it can find room somewhere. The 2 hangar worked back when hangar upgrades were +50% increase, not that everything is 20% increase on level ups we needed to make to at least 5 to make an upgrade mean something on those ships. |

I never put much thought into picking up everything.. but with a quantity limitation. So it sounds like its working without a bug, but not by design =)
It should also probably prioritize the SMALLER stack first so it doesn't alternate |
