For one, that graph is all messed up, the sort by is wrong
For the money, and relative to other ground units, Artillery hits ships quite hard. Ground units in general don't hit ships hard but you can mass them much easier. To say they are effective vs ships might be overstated, |

There's a character cap of 1000 on the comms. But it doesn't have a counter as you type, very annoying I know. Its been months I should REALLY put one =) |

I can make it remove and bring back the artifact to location. Its just a little time-consuming to put it because nothing is so simple. Removing the artifacts didn't seem very popular and applied to a handful of players. |

This is a strange bug, I've heard of it before, it doesn't happen very often and I'm not sure what is triggering it. If you can make it happen reliably I want to know. I can imagine copy pasting coordinates messing up somehow but I would be surprised that the viewscreen is messing it up. |

Now that's a good idea =) Planets were supposed to have special traits on them but it never made it to launch. Having planets spawn with soemthing special, like an existing artifact temple which has some ability that can be activated would be great. Too many things to work on man =) |

I was kind of on vacation for a week or 2 but I'm not working on development again.
The hostile events have been updated to act smarter and be a little more dangerous, these would be the Mothership, Raiders, Pirates, DarkStar events. The DarkStar Event is now active by the way. It is like a System Wide pirate event. So now these events don't attack suicide positions, they don't leave the base if it is severely damaged, Sometimes they don't raid, just attack, so your research and distribution centers may be hit occasionally, I launched a level 1 version of all 4 in Sol somewhere I ALMOST got a Doomstar Event in place, using the Kaiju event as a template, but that will have to wait till next week.. In the meantime, there may be a Doomstar heading towards Sol right now....
The City Expansion was changed which will abandon cities at low population, under 100k, regardless of industry or Corp HQs at the location. Previously if there was enough industry or a Corp HQ was there, the city would not collapse, this is no longer the case. Also, it takes 1000 industry at a location to spawn a new city and the minimum population on the planet required is 10mil per existing city. I want to make System expansion require a star lord and a vote int he future, we may see that come soon.
There are city based Megastructures in the works. There are actually a lot of megastructures in the works, but I hope to get city based ones out soon. There will be one for Population, Production and Military(defense). Hopefully Ill have details on what those end up being next week. |

I hear you, there seems to be certain times of the day where the site slows down significantly. I'm not sure where it comes from.or when it really happens. I don't see it on the server. Normally it runs very quickly everywhere but sometimes its grinds for hours.
Also, if you are making changes during the turn flip, its going to do what you described, the turn flips in 10-15 seconds, sometimes up to a full minute at every 100nth turn. the site doesn't always respond with the "Game Turn Running" page and either case it will reset the page you are on between turn flips.
I suggest opening multiple tabs in the browser for things, Like leave your assets on one tab and right click a unit and open it in a new tab to work with it. Most of the site is designed for that. Its much faster to do this then to click around on one page constantly loading everything.
Not saying its an excuse, The site is overbuilt and needs an overhaul, but in the meantime things like this will help. |

To wrap it up: The contruction factory behaves like endproduct factories in many ways. If it is intentional, ignore this. But it has been a nuisance to me on serveral occasions.
Ya know, I was working on making subtle changes to the icons to represent the different tiers, structure and product alike. There is already some of that happening,like services and Distribution centers look different, but I never finished that. It's something I'll try to play with this week. |

.... You can't blow up a planet but there are artifacts like GeoScorcher Solar Reducer that nuke populations in entire planets or systems. Theres also things like AI Supervirus that steal profits from an entire planet. There is usually a lot of retribution by other players when you use them though, but hey, its terrorism =)
Check out the Hompage >> Guide >> Artifacts The effects are listed.
Unfortunately there is no way to steal artifacts... yet, they are produced at research facilities and at artifact resources. Maybe buy some from another player? |

Have to think about this one, the wording of "profits" maybe wrong and should be changed to "revenue". Its supposed to take 10% of anything you MAKE, otherwise it wouldn't take anything from people losing money and somehow putting yourself in the red would be a defense against the virus which is kinda silly.
I see what you're saying though, if you're spending and making BILLIONS but barely reaping a few million in actual profits, then to take a 10% hit on your revenue actually costs you 100x of what you normally make.
I think this is by design. |

This does look like a bug, I think its ignoring the Terran Federation Military Power. Normally you need more power than the target to steal anything but I have a feeling because the TF are on guard its not counting them. That merc vs your transports makes sense if you remove the Terran Fed units. |

No problem my friend. I know theres a lag issue somewhere, Like I said, normally it runs instantly. Something on the network or machine is bringing it down at certain parts of the day, not sure what. I feel your frustration ! |

Im going to look into it. I think its a problem with Guarding units power not being calculated against the raid, you need more power than the target to get anything out of the raid (or at least half I don't recall). That's obviously not happening. Although if a unit is destroyed after taking something, all is lost but that usually doesn't happen if its a larger force. |

If its taking that long, just kill it, you're probably causing the problem =)
I suspect the database is doing something screwy or needs the indexes rebuilt, something I do weekly already. On big cities, the list of players sells is a little difficult of a query but normally it comes back in a second or two at most |

The construction factory had the stats of an end product structure since like, the beginning, Cons time, cost, icons etc. I did straighten them out in the database but I may have missed one that is affecting the display order. Im looking at the game error tonight ill take alook again |

SSL is something I've looked into already just haven't bothered implementing it yet. Is it just the Login you're afraid of? The payment system is done through PayPal not me, I never get anything about your payment information if thats what scaring you. |
